“Tom Brady is the Greatest QB of All Time,” said Patrick Mahomes, with a spark in his eyes idolizing the QB he aims to become one day. Despite that dream, Mahomes is not ready to give the level of commitment that the GOAT gave to the game. His mother, Randi Mahomes, testified to that. Mama Mahomes took great pride in her son when she claimed that Mahomes “definitely won’t play until 45 like Tom because he plans on prioritizing family.” The fans did not take much time to catch on to the shade that Randi threw on Tom Brady’s choices while praising his son.
His ex-wife Gisele Bundchen confirmed the reason for their split was Brady “prioritizing football over his family.” Yet, openly dissing Brady like that enraged the Brady masses instantly. While the Tom Brady fandom was busy calling out Randi for some insensitive words towards the GOAT, Steve Covino and Rich Davis broke down why prioritizing football was important for the former QB. “Not that he doesn’t love his family when he started to prioritize football, no. I’m sure there’s a lot of other things and he maybe even prioritized football because there was trouble in paradise,” the hosts of Fox Sports Radio explained.

Per them, there would be various factors that would have led to divorce after 13 years of marriage, some of them might even be in their marital life. Hence, blaming it solely on Brady ‘prioritizing football’ would be a tad bit unfair. Hence, Randi Mahomes openly implying that Brady played football ‘because he didn’t prioritize his family’ was never going to sit well with the fans, especially when the QB was in quite a precarious situation himself.
Tom Brady was in a troublesome spot.
“It puts a guy in a tough situation when you have to work and you have to put bread on the table,” Covino said, explaining the situation Brady might be in. The battle to be a provider while simultaneously being a family guy took a huge toll on Tom Brady. After all this, it is only fair for the fans to feel enraged when Randi Mahomes indirectly dissed Tom Brady’s 45-year-long career.

“I hear him, you know, make comments like, ‘If the game takes away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady,’ and I’m like, I’m so proud of him for that,” Randi had said during her appearance on ‘The Mom Game Podcast’, another dialogue that further angered the Tom Brady fandom.
