As per multiple reports, the authorities charged the analyst with three misdemeanor charges, including battery with injury, public intoxication, and unlawful entry of a vehicle, which were filed by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office on Sunday morning. His initial court hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. ET Tuesday, with the bond fixed at $300.
“This incident should never have happened,” Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears said in a statement on Sunday. “What began as a disagreement between a 38-year-old former professional athlete and a 69-year-old man should not have escalated into violence or left anyone seriously injured. As with any case, we will follow the facts and the law wherever they lead.”

After retiring from his NFL career as a quarterback, Mark Sanchez made a smooth transition into broadcasting. He joined Fox Sports as an analyst in 2021 and was set to return to the booth this season, until an incident on Saturday in downtown Indianapolis changed those plans.
With Sanchez sidelined, Fox Sports quickly adjusted its lineup for Sunday’s Colts vs. Raiders game. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Chris Myers took over play-by-play duties, while Brady Quinn stepped in as analyst.
