It has reportedly been over a year since former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and model Jordon Hudson split, although news of their breakup only became public last month. However, recent reports have added another layer. According to Page Six, while Belichick’s family has breathed a sigh of relief following the split, they remain cautious about Hudson’s continued involvement in his professional life.

“There’s definitely a sense of relief now that Bill and Jordon have split, but the family’s concerns haven’t completely gone away,” a source told Page Six, while also adding, “Bill’s family never really had an issue with the age difference between him and Jordon. Their concerns were more about how involved she had become in his professional life.”

Meanwhile, the insider also reported that Belichick kept Hudson in the loop on everything from “emails, management decisions and other business dealings, and that made his family uncomfortable.

“They understand she’s still very involved in his business affairs, but they don’t really know the full extent of her involvement, how much say she has or exactly what responsibilities Bill has given her…They’re not accusing her of doing anything wrong, but there’s still some uncertainty about what her role looks like now that they’re no longer together.”

Page Six tried to reach out to Belichick’s representatives, his family, and Hudson. However, neither responded to its request for comment. The former couple first met during a flight in 2021 before beginning their relationship a year later in 2022.

However, the relationship became public after the earliest widely reported public sightings came in January 2023, when they were first spotted together walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans, followed by a dinner date in September of the same year.

However, it was in late 2024 and early 2025 when Hudson became a visible part of Bill Belichick’s professional life. When Belichick accepted the head coaching position at the University of North Carolina in December 2024, Hudson was present during the announcement and introductory events.

She subsequently accompanied him to the 2025 NFL Honors in February, where their age difference became a subject of jokes during the ceremony. She dominated headlines in April 2025 during a CBS interview when Belichick was asked how he and Hudson first met. Before the head coach could answer, Hudson interrupted from off-camera, saying:

“We’re not talking about this.”

The moment quickly attracted attention, with viewers questioning why Hudson had intervened. Belichick subsequently defended her in a statement released through UNC. He explained that he had agreed to discuss his book, The Art of Winning, and had expected the interview to focus on its contents. He also credited Hudson with helping redirect the conversation.
