Peyton Manning’s post-retirement playbook is as sharp as his on-field audibles. You’d think after five MVPs and two Super Bowl rings, he’d be cool with it. But nah—retirement’s just turned into overtime. Since calling it a career from the pros, Manning has been orchestrating wins in the broadcasting arena. From co-creating the Emmy-winning “ManningCast” with Eli to launching Omaha Productions, valued at $400 million in 2023, Peyton’s transition and strategic brilliance need to be studied.
Then came Monday Nights—less booth, more basement banter. The ManningCast flipped the script on traditional broadcast, with the Manning brothers dissecting plays, ribbing each other, and hosting guests from Charles Barkley to Barack Obama. Its success? Well-documented. We’re talking a sports Emmy and a nine-year ESPN extension through 2034. And get this, the Broncos legend is still calling audibles as he just added another accolade to his cabinet.
At the 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards ceremony on Tuesday night in New York City, Manning, co-host of MNF, won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst. And you guessed that right. This is Manning’s 2nd win in 3 years and ESPN’s 6th win in this category. So, no wonder ESPN congratulated the 49-year-old Broncos legend.

“Congratulations to Peyton Manning, co-host of #MNF with Peyton & Eli, on his 2025 #SportsEmmys win for ‘Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst,” ESPN shared on their official ‘X’ handle on Wednesday. Just to spice things up, his co-host and brother, Eli, chimed in to congratulate his brother as well… in his brotherly way, of course.

“Big congrats to Peyton on the Sports Emmy. Amazing what a guy can accomplish with a solid co-host carrying him every week,” Eli wrote on his social media handle. Classic Eli. Talk about sibling bond. Peyton ended up snagging the award over ESPN/ABC’s Troy Aikman, FOX’s Greg Olsen, CBS/FOX/TNT’s Bill Raftery, and FOX’s John Smoltz. But there’s still more left for ESPN.
Besides Manning winning the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst, ESPN also captured 12 other Sports Emmy Awards, including Nick Saban for Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent. That said, after the conclusion of the 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards, ESPN now has 267 awards in 38 years of eligibility.
But that’s not the only big thing for the Manning brothers in the past few days. After all, they’ve a knack for making waves in the entertainment world as well.

While promoting Chad Powers at Disney’s annual presentation, Peyton and Eli did what they’re best at. Killing it with their comedic timing like pros. They inserted their surname into popular Disney show titles like “Abbott Eli Manning-tary” and “Only Mannings in the Building” and proposed replacing Kaitlin Olson’s “High Potential” cleaning lady with a “cleaning Manning.” Talk about a Classic Manning move.
While their presentation did get mixed reviews, one thing’s certain: Eli and Peyton Manning surely know how to catch everyone’s attention. Whether it’s on Monday Night or through other gigs.
