Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s 14-year-old kid, Benjamin, has just laid a blueprint for his future. Interesting fact: At 14, Mama Brady was already out and about, living in Japan and working her way upwards in the modeling industry. So, when Benjamin shared his own ideas for the future, Bündchen had her answers ready, and rightfully so.

In the latest episode of the YouTube show ‘Rich Roll’, Bündchen shared, “He says to me ‘I’m going to leave home when I’m 18 mom and I don’t know if I’m going to go to college. You didn’t go to college, you didn’t go to school. I’m going to just leave home when I’m 18, and I’m going to do this, and I’m going to do that.'”

As a response to this, Bündchen asked him important questions. “That’s great, so you’re going to live in your own apartment and who’s going to cook for you? And who’s going to wash your dishes, and who’s going to clean your clothes?”

For Bündchen, home is where kids learn to become independent. Hence, she said, “I say well, this is why when mommy tells you to do those things at home you know is because I want to give you more tools for your toolbox.”

Clearly, the teenager is exploring the world. Following his father’s path, he started playing football last year. He aspires to be like Rob Gronkowski! As a result, Gronkowski gave him some advice. “Benny, I appreciate that you’re all out and that’s what you got to be. You got to just be fearless. You got to go out there and put your body on the line.” Further, like his supermodel mother, he also has an interest in music. He loves to sing and play the piano.

But coming back to the mother, who else would be a better role model for her children than herself? After all, she entered the modeling industry at a young age. She moved to the US and worked for several big names, like Alexander McQueen, Versace, and Vogue. That would have surely demanded a certain level of independence.

In fact, Nino Muñoz, who is a photographer and a long-time friend of Bündchen, once revealed how disciplined the model was even as a teenager. “I was always very impressed by her way of just being so structured — making sure she was never late to work, getting to bed early enough so she would sleep and be fresh for the next morning.” However, her life wasn’t easy. In her 2018 memoir ‘Lessons’, she shared how she experienced panic attacks and depression in her 20s. Her lifestyle wasn’t always the best. Thus, she used meditation and mindfulness to get better and she still believes in it.

Gisele Bündchen believes in learning throughout life!

Being a popular face for Victoria’s Secret and on the cover pages of fashion magazines, Bündchen had to put herself through a lot of learning and unlearning. She refused to let her and Brady’s divorce affect her in any way and immediately found a new purpose in life. Last year, 43-year-old Bündchen earned an intermediate-level purple belt in jiu-jitsu. Besides, in an attempt to become the best version of herself, she has channeled her energy and focused on mindfulness.

This mantra is also reflected in her social media posts. In one of her Instagram posts, the mother of two devotes her time to yoga. The following caption gave a glimpse of her current philosophy: “Create a life that feels good from the inside out. Recognize that each choice is a step towards a healthier, more fulfilled self.” Her latest achievement is her cookbook“Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul.” It was published on March 26.
