Even seven-time Super Bowl champions like Tom Brady have their off moments. It was during the Pro-Am golf match at Pebble Beach on February 2, Friday, that the world witnessed a humorous incident. As Brady tried to swing, he missed entirely with his driver.

What was meant to be an impressive tee shot, just ended up bouncing the ball in front of the tee, rolling a mere few feet. The mishap occurred as Brady took charge of the greens at the famed Bay Area golf course.

Brady’s golfing mishap embraces humor amid embarrassment

In 2020, during “The Match”, Brady impressed the golfing world by holing out from well over 100 yards. At that moment, he had competed with the legend Charles Barkley giving him a tough call. However, his recent misstep reveals that for humans mistakes are an indispensable part of life. Similarly, on his Let’s Go podcast, Brady was reminded by his co-host, “You know what, you’re human. You’re like the rest of us. You have 7 Super Bowls and you’re gonna show off those rings, but guess what you’re the everyman.”

In this regard, Brady admitted to having had a mixed feeling of embarrassment and frustration. Known for his competitive spirit, he recounted, “My playing partners were laughing, I was ready to snap my club in half”. As Brady mentioned in the podcast, the golf instructor sent him a text that encapsulated the essence of the unexpected moment. Brady revealed, “It was after hitting such a horrible tee shot on the second half of Pebble, Butch Harmon texted me, The last thing you can do is top a ball on it go four feet on national tv and will live forever.” Hence, it has been proved from the former quarterback’s statement that the mishap caused a collective chuckle among spectators.
