While Gisele Bundchen might have been on the glossiest covers during her career, her heart will always be in her hometown, Rio Grande do Sul. For Bundchen, humanity and care for the plants are always a priority. As her hometown is suffering the toughest of natural adversities because of the climate crisis, Gisele Bundchen stands “heartbroken” over it. The floods in Brazil are worsening by day, and it is testing everything Bundchen has to offer as a climate activist.
With thousands of lives at stake each day, Gisele Bundchen’s heart is crying out for her hometown natives. Bundchen has been on a mission to fight these adversities, as she continuously leverages her social media to gather as many resources as she can for the ones in dire need. Earlier, the former Victoria’s Secret model took to her Instagram to share a gut-wrenching clip of the floods engulfing the whole of buildings and houses.

But Bundchen is not the one to give up. After amassing considerable donors through her social media posts, Tom Brady’s ex-wife took to her Instagram again to officially organize things to provide solace and send aid to Rio Grande do Sul’s people. “My heart breaks for the Brazilians who are living through the devastation of the massive floods in Rio Grande do Sol this week. Thousands of people have sadly lost everything. My team and I have been received many inquiries about where to donate to get funds directly to the people dealing with this disaster,” Bundchen wrote on Instagram.
To bring a solution to this and send aid to the flood-prone areas, Bundchen pairs up with an organization, the announcement of which she made on her Instagram. “Thus, I have made the decision to reopen donations to the Luz Alliance Emergency Fund in partnership with @brazilfound.” And this is not where Bundchen ends her attempts to save her native people.

Gisele Bundchen prays for her people
From planting 40,000 trееs on her birthday to boldly confronting Brazilian agricultural policies, Bundchen’s relentless efforts to make the planet’s environment better have won the hearts of her fans. It has been almost a decade since Bundchen started strongly advocating for the environment.
As her current sympathies lie with the people of Rio Grande do Sul, Bundchen decided to invoke God to halt the hardships on the people. “Sadness in my state. Praying this rain stops soon,” Bundchen shared, looking at the homeless state of people in her hometown.
