Having said and done it all, Peyton Manning decided to put a little spin on his and some others’ usual duties. Being regarded as the second-best GOAT in the league comes with its own set of experiences, like having the out-of-the-box brain cells to craft a whimsical week off for the NFL stars. For this, Manning pulled a never-seen-before stunt with his production house, Omaha.

Usually, it’s the behind-the-scenes guys who complete the illustrious task of putting together an episode of some of the most trumpeted shows at the Omaha productions. Like in the ManningCast. However, with the off-season at its peak, Manning thought of handing over the reins of the task to the ones who usually get featured in those shows, the famed celebrities of the NFL, just for a day.

When Manning conjured up the up-and-coming football personas like Christian McCaffrey, Ray Lewis, and Ja’Marr Chase, all in one place, fans already knew it was going to be hilarious. And then came the moment of truth, the players being presented with the clips from Manning’s shows. The clips were especially cherry-picked by Manning and his cast to elicit the most comical responses from these guys. One of them was about Manning having a professional call with Packers QB Jordan Love during a game… from the bathroom!

Surely a mid-game bathroom chat was something that the Bengals received hardly ever imagined in his wildest dreams, but the fun part was still to come. Setting up Ja’Marr Chase in the editing seat, Manning played the clip, “I talked to Jordan Love, who by the way, I talked to him for 10 minutes. I was in the bathroom at the Broncos game taking notes on toilet paper,” Manning confessed in one of his earlier clips from the 2023 season.

With the image of Manning taking notes on toilet paper flushing his mind, Chase immediately scrunched up his nose, saying, “Oh, man! That’s just disgusting.” The only things holding him up were the cutting-edge scores of the Packers vs. Broncos game that Manning was referring to.

Yet, Jordan Love overtook Wilson in terms of performance with his explosive 180 yards packed with 21 competitions out of the 31 attempts, 2 touchdowns, and one interception. The performance of Love saw a rise during the season, and fans might get much more out of the QB if the team gets backed up by an equally strong defensive back, something that the franchise is trying to get their hands on during their 25th pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
