Lamar Hunt founded the Kansas City Chiefs and served as the owner until his demise in 2006. The team's operations are handled by her son Clark Hunt, who oversaw the end of an unfortunate streak. In 2016, the Kansas City Chiefs blanked Houston Texans 30-0 to advance to the 2015 Divisional Playoffs. The win ended the team's 22-year wait for a playoff win.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to be a force to reckon with for many seasons.
