“You got to put the oxygen mask on you first,” Gisele Bündchen said not too long ago, and honestly, she’s been walking that talk ever since the divorce. She moved to Miami, got back into modeling like she never left—seriously, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, all of it—and made wellness her whole vibe. Think jiu-jitsu, beach workouts, even horseback riding in Costa Rica. It wasn’t a collapse—it was a full-on reset.
And she’s kept it real the whole way. Juggling co-parenting with ex-husband Tom Brady, supporting her kids, and quietly starting over with Joaquim Valente—her jiu-jitsu trainer turned partner, with whom she just had a baby boy earlier this year. Gisele’s been all about keeping close to nature, to family, and to herself. And this weekend? Let’s say that whole “mom first” mindset showed up in one touching little Mother’s Day message.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life.” She wrote on her official IG handle. “Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived. Lately, I’ve been embracing the slower rhythms, the real connections, the beauty in the lessons that come with being present. Today, on Mother’s Day, I specially miss my mom, but my heart is full.”

“Being a mother, it’s been my greatest gift, a journey that humbles me, teaches me, and fills me with gratitude every single day. To all the mothers out there, your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe. I see you, I honor you. Happy Mother’s Day! Sending so much love your way! ❤️.” Gisele’s mom, Vnia Nonnenmacher, tragically passed away at the age of 75 in January 2024, after battling cancer.
Mom to six girls, Vnia played a huge role at the beginning of Bündchen’s career as she signed Gisele and her two sisters to modeling courses back in 1993 to help with their posture and confidence. No wonder the former Victoria’s Secret Angel praised her mom for being “the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace.”
Fast forward to now, and Gisele—yep, 44 and thriving—is a mom of three. She’s got Benjamin (Benny) and Vivian with Tom Brady, and just this past February, she and her partner Joaquim Valente welcomed a baby boy. First kid together, big moment. And if the rumors are true, a wedding might be happening later this year in Brazil. Sounds like a full-circle kind of year for her.
On the flip side, Tom Brady just reflected on his last year’s appearance on Netflix’s roast show and expressed his desire to become a better parent to his kids.

Seems like Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time was not that great for Tom Brady
Last year, Tom Brady participated in Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, which aired live in May 2024. The roast show featured athletes including Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots‘ former head coach, Bill Belichick, and on and on. Besides, the show also featured appearances from the likes of Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser, and Kim Kardashian. And their gig was simple: to poke the 47-year-old NFL GOAT.

Fast forward to now, and when Brady recalls his appearance on the roast show… well, let’s just say the Patriots’ legend kind of regrets his decision, especially because of how it affected his kids. A few days ago, Brady sat down on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, where he admitted that he has some “regret[s]” about participating in the roast.
“It was tough on my kids for sure,” Brady said while adding that it “was really hard” on his children—John “Jack” Edward, who’s 17, with his ex Bridget Moynahan, and Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. “There’s some things as a parent you f— up, and you don’t realize until after. We’re not perfect parents. You’ll see as you grow up, there’s no perfect manual for it.”
Brady admitted that he enjoyed the show, no doubt. But on the other hand, when he talked about it later to his kids, “I felt like a stake through the heart, understandably,” Brady added somberly. He later continued stating that his kids wanted to know “what was the point” and “why did you do that.”

But at the end of the day, the NFL legend stated that he didn’t want to do it again and wants to be a better parent to his kids.
“So I think it’s a good lesson for me as a parent. I’m going to be a better parent as I go forward because of it, and at the same time, I’m happy everyone who was there had a lot of fun,” he said. Fair enough. Even Brady doesn’t always land things the way he intends to. The man had his fun, but the fallout clearly hit home. And Brady’s ready to own it.
