Recently, the Brazilian model’s interview with Robin Roberts has brought forward her unfiltered and emotional side to the viewers. Even though it has been long since she parted ways with Brady, her voice choked while talking about going through the divorce. But immediately, she seemed confident, hinting at stepping toward a new life. 

For Bündchen, the divorce has been described as the “death of my dream.” Though emotion took charge of her during the interview, Brady’s former wife immediately brought everything under control by addressing the situation positively. The candid conversation with Roberts found Bündchen confidently claiming, “Okay, it’s definitely a time of transition that had to take place, and it’s not something that I don’t think, wish for that, you know, but I think sometimes in life things happen. I feel so blessed because like I wouldn’t change anything in my life I have.”     

Drawing from her statement confirmed the rumors that she is now dating jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. According to the sources, the Victoria’s Secret model had always wanted to keep her personal life private but was frequently spotted together in public. Based on this, an insider shared an insight about the Bündchen-Valente relationship, claiming, “Gisele’s so grateful for Joaquim. They’ve been practically inseparable. He makes her feel happy and sexy and alive, and she’s having fun with him.” She and Valente becoming acquaintances started quite interestingly, which takes us back to the time before Brady-Bündchen’s divorce.

In the last interview, when questioned about possibly opening her heart again, Bündchen’s response exuded a sense of self-assurance. As revealed by sources following her divorce from Brady, she found solace in Valente’s companionship. Even though reportedly they have been dating since June last year, Bündchen and Valente’s relationship blossomed from a platonic friendship.

It was in 2021 that she signed her pre-teen son, Benjamin, for Valente’s martial arts school. While taking her son to practice, the mother of two also developed an interest in jiu-jitsu, which provided a foundation for their friendship. Even though sources claimed that “They’re taking it slow,” they further revealed, “He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”

Having similar Brazilian roots, Bündchen and Valente share a love for traveling. A month later, after Brady and Bündchen got divorced, Valente went on a trip with her to Costa Rica in November of the same year. The duo has also appeared in a photo shoot for Dust Magazine in the November 2022 issue.
