Tom Brady is a Michigan boy at his core. And he makes it loud and clear. Even though Brady graduated from the University of Michigan in 1999, he still adores the Wolverines as much as he used to in his college days. This was unmistakably evident in his recent launch of the Michigan collection in his clothing line, the brand ambassador for which is QB JJ McCarthy.

Along with the QB, Brady’s has also signed other Michigan players to promote the newly launched collection. Brady stands in solidarity with the players of the number 3 ranked team amidst the whole sign-stealing fiasco, as they hit the road to give a tough test against Penn State in a few hours. The archaic rivalry between the two teams is inherent in each Michigan player since 1993, the season that marked the first clash between the two.

Between 1996-99, Brady racked up two wins over the Nittany Lions. This spirit of Michigan vs. Penn State still hasn’t left Brady. Yet, proving it one more time and this time around, leaving nothing to guess, Tom Brady blatantly expressed his innate desire for the upcoming day. “BEAT PENN STATE!” wrote Brady in his latest announcement on Instagram.

Michigan already had a ton of expectations lurking over them to emerge victorious against their rivals, Penn State. Now, Brady’s words have added another benchmark they have to set. Will Michigan stay true to everyone’s expectations? Fans will know that in just a couple of hours. However, what fans won’t expect shortly is the conclusion of the sign-stealing debacle by the former Michigan staff member Conor Stallions.
