NFL legend Tom Brady recently reposted a video that brought back millions of memories from February 2021. It was the TB12 who made quite a splash at the Tampa Bay Super Bowl parade. Known for his iconic performances, Brady made the parade a grand spectacle by arriving in a jaw-dropping $2 million boat. From the celebration, the drunken video of Brady went viral, which, again, his social media team brilliantly covered up later. But what went more viral was his choice of celebration with the Lombardi trophy.

As the original video goes, Brady is seen standing on a boat with his family, poised to toss the recent possession, the Lombardi Trophy, into the waiting arms of the players on the other boat. Even though it was assumed to be under the influence, the action took social media by storm. Cut to 2024, the NFL legend recently re-shared a video on his Instagram story from his E1 team.

The team has done some brilliant editing work, as the Lombardi trophy has been replaced with the E1 trophy. As the trophy made its imaginary journey through the air, the team digitally superimposed the faces of E1 athletes Emma Elina Kimiläinen and Sam Coleman onto the faces of the players seen in the original video who grabbed the trophy. However, these two personalities emerging in the edited video version have a special reference, too.

Tom Brady’s championship debut in E1 comes with a victory

As the NFL GOAT tried to make his post-playing ownership portfolio grow, he stepped into E1 investment. In July 2023, Brady announced his investment in the E1 all-electric boat racing league. Interestingly, in the UIM E1 World Championship in Jeddah along the Red Sea shores, Team Brady won the first E1 series electric boat race last month.

Eight teams showcased electrifying performances with speeds surpassing 50 knots, including teams owned by famous Rafael Nadal, Sergio Perez, and renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. But it was Elina Kimiläinen and Sam Coleman who clinched the trophy. Hailing from Britain and Finland, the duo of seasoned pilots orchestrated a victory with a winning margin of nearly 20 seconds and a remarkable time span of 6.58.51.

The runner-up positions were secured by Team Miami, powered by Magnus and Team Rafa, who hit more than the 7-minute mark. Having an eye for the best talent, Brady effectively picked up the Finnish racing driver, Elina Kimiläinen, whose notable achievements include a podium finish in the 2021 W Series season. On the other hand, Coleman has four World Championships under his name. This victory will propel Team Brady to excel in the next UIM E1 World Championship held this May in the City of Water, Venice.
