After surviving the toughest of pressure tests on-field for over 20 years as a legendary QB, Tom Brady opened up on the process that led him to be mentally tough enough to lead his team to the Super Bowl 7 times. Brady has brought his healing journey to the limelight several times, advocating for the cause of spreading awareness for mental health. In his recent interview with BetterHelp, Tom Brady gave his fans a glimpse into his mental health journey, one which he has been on for the last 25 years.
“I’ve worked with therapists for over 25 years. I’m always open to therapy, I’m open to psychology, I’m open to therapists. I’m open to anybody who knows more than I know,” Brady admitted in the interview with BetterHelp.
His motive behind it was something that Brady has addressed in his past as well.” I want to be better too. I want to be better for my friends and my family, for my children. My emotions are a very human part of me. And how I can develop emotional maturity. How I can learn from them so that I can quickly grow and adapt and wake up the next day a little bit better, than where I started. Therapy has made such a difference in my life,” Brady proudly admitted in the interview.
