Bündchen, a culinary maven in the making

Having a penchant for a healthy and balanced lifestyle gave birth to writing the cookbook. However, the real motivation runs somewhere deep, as Bündchen revealed to the host. Moms of other kids went crazy when she achieved something unattainable during the playdates that used to take place at Bündchen’s house. Solely driven by the love for food, she disclosed, “The moms will come back and they’re like, ‘How did you get my kid to eat vegetable?” I’m like, “It’s so easy. Just, like, roast them.’ She’s like, ‘How do you do that?'”

It is from there that she aimed to demystify the secrets behind healthy eating that is otherwise conceived by others to be a big mambo-jumbo. Bündchen’s sister gave the idea of writing the cookbook. What prompted her to execute the plan was: “And I love to share. I’m a Cancer, so I’m a big sharer. Anything good for me, that feels good, I want everyone to know and everyone to have it.”

Her cookbook serves as a manual to her belief that wellness begins with food. As noted by Bündchen herself, “There is something for everyone” as far as the recipes are concerned. The latest endeavor by Tom Brady’s former wife has a battle-winning tale to share.

Bündchen’s journey to self-discovery

Per reports, in her early 20s, Bündchen found herself engulfed in stress and anxiety that contributed to her mental turmoil. What she refers to as “one of the worst times of [her] life” is that she was taking herself far from being mindful. To her surprise, Bündchen went to see a naturopathic doctor who suggested changing her diet.

According to Bündchen, she had terrible eating habits, and she was responsible for the condition she was in. Everything changed for her once she took control of what she was eating. This might have also increased Bündchen’s motivation while writing her cookbook.

Even though she is “the farthest thing from a chef,” Bündchen has shared her favorite yet healthy meal recipes through the cookbook. Calling sugar “poison” with some healthy changes paired with a positive and active lifestyle, Bündchen has won her battles and looks forward to witnessing others’ victories. In this journey, Nourish, set to hit the shelves on March 26, will make things easier coming from Bündchen herself.
