Tom Brady’s hint at making a comeback in the NFL did not go well among analysts. This includes Keyshawn Johnson, the former wide receiver.

On the YouTube show All Facts No Brakes With Keyshawn Johnson, the host disapproves of any possibility of Brady’s return, and for him, now that “He’s 46,” is a good enough reason to debunk all the options. Even though Brady has assured that he will be in his best form and keep himself open if given a chance, like Johnson, Cam Newton called it “clickbait” a few days ago.

In the podcast, Johnson appears as a person who believes that no matter what talent Brady carries with himself, there seems to be no chance for the NFL GOAT to return to the league. The host guards himself up and assures his guest, Ron Rivera, claiming, “Coach he’s bored he is bored… no way in hell I’m signing Tom Brady.” As a reason for not choosing Brady for his team, Johnson further affirmed, “He’s 46. Yeah, he’s 46 years old. He hadn’t played in a year okay? Now you say well he doesn’t need to run, you just want him to manage the game dink and dunk and do those sorts of things.”

It was a month back when, suddenly, Brady shot into the limelight for expressing his wish to take charge of the gridiron all over again. While getting his hair cut, the TB12 startled fans and analysts alike as he revealed his new wish, “I’m not opposed to it. If they would I don’t know if they’re going to let me if I become an owner in an NFL team. I don’t know I’m always going to be in good shape.” However, this statement was not well-received by many, Cam Newton being one of them.

Cam Newton’s take on Brady’s wish

A few days ago, Newton tore into Brady about the NFL GOAT’s new wish on his show, 4th & 1 With Cam Newton. When asked about his opinion on the chances of Brady’s wish materializing, Newton described the situation as “This is clickbait.” He further questioned the video’s authenticity, drawing attention to the top-right corner of the referenced clipping featuring Brady. He said it’s a TikTok video that must be concerning enough on the reliability front.

Julian Edelman, Brady’s close friend and former New England Patriots wide receiver, also doesn’t seem convinced about the TB12’s action plan. Giving a reality check on who Brady is as a person, Edelman came up with a stamp of approval, saying, “No, bro! The guy is in St. Tropez right now. The wording was if someone got hurt late in the season, do you think you can do it? And Tom’s a confident guy. He definitely thinks he can go do it. Is he going to do it? I don’t think so. Probably not.”

Even though Tom Brady has yet to confirm his future plan of action, the only factor that will restrict him from pulling the reverse gear is his age and not talent. Another crucial factor is that now that he is on his way to owning a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, it will restrict him from participating as a player.
