It’s a tale as old as time – the tussle between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning NEVER ends. The fans might hardly get to witness the fiery clash between the two over the ball, especially since the two have retired now. Since Manning retired in 2016, he has founded an empire in 2020: Omaha Productions. Remember “Omaha! Omaha,” Manning’s trademark call? Well, just like his signature call mounted him as an emerging brand, his production house debuted a show with ESPN in September ’23 marking the onset of another Peyton Manning era: The Manningcast.

Fans love watching the back-and-forth repartee between the brothers on Manningcast, reportedly generating about $30-$50 million per year. But how can the brothers, with a combined net worth of $400 million, ever settle down? Hence, Peyton Manning is on his heels chasing Bill Belichick. Belichick not only boasts the most flamboyant records but is also easy to secure since he has not signed with any other team yet. However, Andrew Marchand at the Athletic believes that it’s all a part of a grand scheme. The idea behind Manning’s Masterplan is broached to be “Signing Belichick, the idea of teaming with ESPN to create a Belichick and Nick Saban ‘Manningcast’.

Well, ESPN didn’t wait too long on securing Saban themselves with a $300 million deal as their College GameDay analyst. Nick Saban has both the charm of the entertainer and the wit from serving as the best collegiate head coach for about 33 years. Belichick, on the other hand, is all about a deep understanding of the ball, especially since he has worked with the GOAT Tom Brady. The yet-to-be-discovered entertainer charisma in Belichick would be made up for by Peyton Manning and his brother and co-host Eli Manning’s natural hilariousness, on top of being some of the most celebrated former NFL players. If Manning manages to piece it all together, he will have a gold mine knocking on his door. So much so that it would even tense out Tom Brady’s $375 million broadcasting deal.

Albeit Brady’s deal with Fox Sports as their broadcaster for a 10-year deal that’s almost equal to the net worth of both these brothers combined. The GOAT is set to hit the television screens in the fall since he took one year off post-retirement. Brady is thrilled to enter a different career, learning to view the sport he cherished as a QB from an analyst’s lens. “I used to watch from the lens of a quarterback, now I see it more from broadcasting, but also as a fan, and also still as a quarterback,” Tom Brady said in his Let’s Go! podcast.
