Brown adheres to a path of redemption by blocking Hill

The Indiana Fever player took the country by storm the past year becoming the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. Since then Clark has not hit any low, however, there have been multiple times that big shots tried to bring her down. Even though Brown has rectified himself by replacing his past attacks with his latest ritual of endorsing Clark on social media, the WNBA star has got a new critic. It is none other than former ESPN host, Hill. According to her, Clark owes some of her “worth” as a marketable WNBA player to her race and sexuality. Her negative remark went as “There’s plenty of room to highlight and celebrate Caitlin Clark’s popularity while also discussing ways in which to not erase Black women from a league that they have built and continue to build.” It was an ideal opportunity for Brown to whitewash his negative image and enter into Clark’s good books. He then took the initiative of blocking Hill from his X account.

To showcase his support for Clark, AB then posted a screenshot of him blocking Hill with the caption, “Respect @CaitlinClark22  #CTESPN”. Apart from this, recently there have been multiple occasions when Brown came off as Clark’s biggest advocate.

In one of Clark’s latest stints, Brown could be spotted on the stands. The speculation turned out to be real when AB posted a live footage of the WNBA star in action while declaring himself as Clark’s fan. As fans mobbed Clark, the ex-Steelers’ waited patiently for his turn to arrive and shared the video with the caption,Respect @CaitlinClark22 Got a @IndianaFever fan here #CTESPN.”

Later in a different instance while appearing on John Whitlock’s YouTube podcast, he justified his motive behind trolling her as “bring the positive constructive criticism from my news station to Caitlyn Clark”. However, Brown’s crushing over Clark did not stop here as the Controversy King went the extra mile and found himself a ticket to witness the WNBA star during the Indiana Fever versus Dallas Wings match on May 3. In this case, Brown’s repayment for his past deeds had been priced since the tickets cost him $791.
