Clarkson brought up Bündchen’s experience at the Rio Olympics. Despite ramp walking being her forte, the supermodel revealed how it had been challenging at the Maracanã Stadium: “I know, but not walking the entire Marac, this is like the longest. The Rio Olympics held a special place in the supermodel’s heart since she was born and raised in Brazil. As Bündchen strutted while walking down the ramp, she was exposed to heavy criticism from fans and haters alike. However, the TB12 took swift action and had been vocal about supporting his then-wife, Bündchen. Without directly replying to the critics, Brady congratulated her and ensured that she translated it into Portuguese so the native speakers could understand. “Gisele, words can’t describe how proud I was to watch you represent your country. I love you.”
Even though she had garnered a lot of hate for not being able to deliver her best during the catwalk, Bündchen focused on the positives that the event gifted her with. After the event, she took to social media and expressed her gratitude, “Everyone involved worked with dedication and passion to create a show that gave the world a glimpse of our history and Brazil’s essence.”
