The NBA Finals have a way of bringing all prominent personalities together. From movie icons to NFL stalwarts, even the stars come down to the humble Earth to witness the battle between two of the best teams in the league. And this year, the teams playing against each other are interesting indeed. With the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets pitted against each other, everyone is eager to see how these two square up against each other. And it is no surprise that NFL and NBA stars like Shaquille O Neal and Peyton Manning have made appearances courtside. And, seems the kids were also part of the finals.

Both of the legends were seen interacting with each other. Manning had shown up to the Finals with his son, incidentally who was dressed in an interesting manner.

Big Diesel meets up with the Sheriff Peyton Manning

It is almost obvious that Shaq would be present at the NBA Finals. With his job with NBA TNT as well as his obvious history in the league. Furthermore, Manning’s presence makes it very clear that these NBA Finals are a huge deal, considering the Sheriff is in town for it. Interestingly, the two shared a wholesome moment when they first met courtside.

There seemed to be an interesting exchange of words between the two legends. After this, Shaq shared a wholesome moment wherein he hugged Manning’s son. Interestingly, his son had donned an Allen Iverson jersey from AI’s Denver Nuggets days, giving an ode to the team’s Finals appearance.

Interestingly, this is not the only time Manning has had a wholesome encounter with an NBA legend. There was also a time when he had a brilliant golfing interaction with Charles Barkley.

The Barkley-Manning crossover

Right before the finals, Manning was reportedly golfing with NBA HOFer Charles Barkley. Manning even took to Instagram to share pictures of the two golfing together. Interestingly, this wasn’t a surprise golfing meet-up. The two had apparently planned this. Manning had put up a subsequent post on Instagram inviting Barkley to team up with him for a round of golf. All in all, it seems like the Sheriff has a soft spot for some of the NBA’s legends.

With the meet-up with Charles Barkley earlier, and now the wholesome moment with Shaq, it seems like the NBA Finals are causing some of the more interesting meet-ups of the stars. It only remains to be seen which NFL star will be seen appearing courtside next for the 2nd game of the series.
