The confidence that retired NFL GOAT and Michigan alum Tom Brady has for his college football team is commendable. After a light-hearted bet with Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud who was a former Ohio State player, the 7-time SB champion teases the 22-year-old who decided to withdraw from the bet after Ohio State lost to Michigan 30-24.
With Harbaugh’s suspension and things looking uncertain for the Wolverines, Brady came out in strong support of his alma mater, betting on them winning beyond all doubt. The Wolverine’s victory marks their third straight win against Ohio State, also sealing their hopes of participating in the Big Ten Championship game next month.

Former Michigan QB Tom Brady vouchers for his team and is confident to even bet one of his SB rings if his former team loses. Interestingly, CJ Stroud accepted the bet offered by the NFL legend on his Let’s Go! podcast. And now that Michigan won, Tom Brady took to Twitter to post an amusing tweet about CJ Stroud not taking the bet calling it a “smart move.” He stated, “At least you keep the rocket arm and 4.4 40 time.”

Prior to the heated rivalry game between Ohio State and Michigan, even NFL GOAT Tom Brady had to take a bet. On his podcast, he set up a wager with the former Buckeyes player saying, “If Ohio State wins, you get one of my SB rings. If Michigan (wins), then you give me all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40, and all your future years in the NFL.”

The last game in Ann Arbor saw Ryan Day’s Buckeyes lose their first season game and fall for the third time in the hands of the Wolverines. Despite Jim Harbaugh not being present at the final game, his replacement HC Sherrone Moore and QB JJ McCarthy managed to lead the team to victory. McCarthy himself scored 148 passing yards and a touchdown in the game. DB Rod Moore’s interception with 25 seconds left sealed their 30-24 win against Ohio State.

Michigan leads the Michigan-Ohio State football rivalry with 61-51-6 after their last game in 119 meetings. The Wolverines may be looking for another chance to relive their record winning streak of 9 (1901-1909) as they beat the Buckeyes again for the third time.

As Michigan celebrates its victory, the team still has a major Big Ten Championship game ahead in their schedule. The Wolverines will face Iowa on December 2 in Indianapolis for the big game. If they win the championship game, they’ll appear in the College Football Playoff for the third straight time.
