Channeling his inner LeBron James, Shedeur Sanders took a fresh take on his sports life by switching the pigskin with the b-ball on the court. Shedeur Sanders had a fun day out in Colorado, something that he had been posting about on his Instagram. Sanders was enjoying his weekend to the fullest, indulging in everything from Smoothie King to Wendy’s as he boasted through his story.

What the fans didn’t expect on Shedeur’s Instagram story was finding him on the basketball court, jumping hoops, and scoring baskets instead of his usual drills at Folsom Field. QB Sanders was smiling from corner to corner, almost as if his childhood dream had come true. Per the post, Sanders was brushing up his b-ball skills with NBA shooting coach Chris Matthews. Matthews taught a solid thing or two to Sanders as he landed the ball right into the hoop, leveraging his tall 6-foot-2 frame.

Well, Shedeur Sanders’ love for basketball is something he tapped into recently. Shedeur Sanders has frequented his trips to the basketball court as a spectator. It all started when he and his receiver duo, Travis Hunter, were adorably freaked out at the Lakers vs. Nuggets game, more specifically witnessing LeBron James play. The season opener at Ball Arena on Tuesday night became one of the most unforgettable days of Shedeur Sanders’ life.
