Ohio State has been known as the arch-rival of Michigan for a long time now. It was in November last year, that the Buckeyes’ Harrison Jr., broke Buckeye’s 100-yard receiving game record that was held by David Boston. Along with this, he took down the Wolverines with five catches for 115 yards and a 30-24 victory over Minter’s squad.

Following this, the then Michigan’s DC placed his opinion about Harrison Jr., “I mean, he’s probably one of the best college receivers in the last 15-20 years, one of the best NFL draft prospects at that position in a long time.”

As he struggled to bring up a strategy to limit Harrison Jr. with the philosophy of the maize and blue, he highlighted his versatility. According to Minter, Harrison Jr. possesses,  “Great skill set, ability to move around. So I think there’s a lot of answers you got to have because they can line him up in so many different spots.” Traveling to the present time, the Cardinals seemed to be a prospect for Harrison Jr., but now the dilemma has taken over.

Trade possibilities around Harrison Jr.

With the NFL Draft looming around the corner, the Arizona Cardinals have been struggling to find the best talent at the No.4 overall pick. Among the top contenders eyeing for the spot is the Buckeyes’ wide receiver. Even though a dynamic talent like Harrison Jr. could bolster the Cardinals’ offensive firepower, there still prevails some speculations about the wide receiver’s entry into the program.

As per the reports, some analysts came up with the possibility of Arizona exploring trading back options in the draft in an attempt to seize more picks. Albert Breer from Sports Illustrated gave a run down on Harrison Jr.’s current scenario, “He actually did ask a couple teams if there’s anything they’d need to see at his pro day in Columbus, Ohio, later this month. One I talked to laughed at the notion. So right now, I’d pencil him in as the fourth pick to the Arizona Cardinals.”

According to sources, the Cardinals have interviewed at least five receivers including Harrison Jr. Along with this, the team has also shown interest in Washington Huskies’ wide receiver, Rome Odunze. As the exciting offseason comes to an end with the NFL Draft next month, it is to be seen whether Harrison Jr. can carry on his legacy of spreading terror across the field.
