This year’s NFL Draft will be new to the Los Angeles Chargers HC and in every possible way he has shot into the limelight. Jim Harbaugh is all geared up with his different strategies, however, his master plan seems to have left the analysts amazed. A group of analysts has gathered up on the YouTube show, “Crain & Company” and one of them tagged Harbaugh as ‘the best poker player’.

Out of the many, The Bolts HC’s big plan to “trade Justin Herbert”, landed him up under the light of scrutiny. With this, he overturned the former claim, that the HC played mind games to endorse McCarthy elsewhere. So as a whole, the draft intentions of the Chargers lack clarity.

After being known as ‘Cool Jim’, the time has come for the Chargers HC to get a new nickname. At the YouTube show, host Jake Crain revealed his notion about Harbaugh and gave him a new title. Intending to simplify his plans ahead of the Big Day, Crain commented, “Jim Harbaugh may be the best poker player in the world…he just he’s what do they say about Bruce Wayne he’s rich and nuts.” The fact that the HC remains dazzled to fulfill only the goal surrounding ditching Herbert left another guest analyst to come up with his view. To give a better picture of how Harbaugh’s mind works, he said, “Like you’re looking at him and he’s looking straight through you through the back of your head and he’s listening to you but he’s also in his head going I could trade Justin I could trade Justin Herbert”.

A few days back, it was Harbaugh who ran after every team in the NFL praising McCarthy so that they draft the quarterback and his path ahead gets clear in drafting Marvin Harrison Jr. But according to the mock draft, the HC is now on his way to draft McCarthy. How did the tables turn?

What can be Harbaugh’s ulterior motive behind such a move?

Behind making the move of trading Herbert and drafting McCarthy, there could be three reasons dominating Harbaugh’s mind space. The Bolts HC has always showered the quarterback with exceptional praise and compared him to Andrew Luck. The reference was only in the light that Luck was an NFL-ready player and shot up to being the starter in the initial year of professional football.

His inclination towards McCarthy gives rise to the second reason for trading Herbert. He may follow in the footsteps of Jimmy Johnson, the Dallas Cowboys’ former HC who traded Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings and in return participated in a haul of draft picks. In doing so, there lies an option for Harbaugh to offer Herbert to the Chicago Bears in exchange for the first pick overall. No point in guessing how he is going to make use of the golden opportunity.

Time to mention what could be the primary reason. Back in the 2005 NFL Draft, Harbaugh turned away from first-overall pick, Alex Smith and elevated Colin Kaepernick. This chance turned out to give the best results in the Super Bowl run and the Chargers HC wants to try his luck again this time.  What do you think, will the ‘best poker player’ be able to draw an ace this time?
