In a move that has stirred excitement, the Crimson Tide is reportedly all set to make a notable addition to its coaching staff. As per the reports, none other than William Inge is expected to join the ranks. Inge has held a diverse experience by serving as the assistant head coach of Washington.

Besides, the program has made a significant move by acquiring the commitment of Ryan Grubb who followed DeBoer from Washington to Alabama in January. Now, rumors abound that Seattle’s newly appointed HC Mike Macdonald is looking at him for his OC position.

All eyes of Alabama fans are set on the collaboration that marks the continuation of a successful coaching partnership between Inge and William. The duo had presently collaborated when they were at Fresno State and Indiana. It was in 2021 that Inge became a part of the Huskies’ family as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

His previous coaching spots comprise programs such as San Diego State, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati and Colorado. Even though the defensive coordinator position for the Huskies is already filled up by Kane Wommack, speculations revolve around Inge taking up the role of special teas coordinator for Alabama. Besides the reports looming around the Washington coach stepping into the Crimson Tide, other rumors are still buzzing around.

Following DeBoer’s departure from the Huskies, Grubb joined the Crimson Tide last month. However, within a short span, after securing Mike Macdonald, as their next head coach, the 47-year old Alabama coach is now being considered by the Seattle Seahawks for their open offensive coordinator position.

A league source confirmed to the Seattle Times that Grubb could join the Seahawks as offensive coordinator as he is “under consideration” for the job. Another report from Pro Football Talk wrote that “while it’s not finalized, Grubb is definitely under consideration for the job.”

With Alabama trying to figure out the ways to continue to be a powerhouse, eyes are fixated on the addition of William Inge. Besides, with all the speculations that bring the program into the focal point, it is to be seen whether the upcoming season holds promise for further success under the collective expertise of DeBoer, Wommack and Inge.
