Nix’s journey captured through docuseries
Nix knows it well to keep his fans on the edge ahead of the NFL draft. With his admirers curious about where he would get drafted, the quarterback found it the perfect time to surprise them. Revealing his latest venture beyond the gridiron and immediately to the silver screen, he made an Instagram post. Posting an enticing poster featuring himself, the caption read, “I’m excited to share my new docuseries, “Grit & Glory: Journey To The Draft” premiering May 1st at 8pm ET on Bolt Tv (@bolt.tv). Keep an eye out for the trailer dropping later this week!”

The title of the docuseries holds relevance as the word “grit” refers to the injury challenges he faced. In 2021, while playing for the Ducks, he suffered an ankle injury, and his program lost to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. But he made his way through recovery and led Oregon one step closer to the Pac-12 Championship, which covers the “glory” part of the title. Nix’s life is about to take a positive turn now that he is stepping foot in the NFL.

Nix’s inclination toward the Denver Broncos
Per reports, Nix is the only player in the NFL draft who has met all 32 teams in the NFL during the pre-draft process. The NFL teams may meet only 30 prospects over 400 by the rules. With this calculation, it can be assumed that each franchise has shown interest in Nix.

The most likely landing spot for the Ducks quarterback will be the Denver Broncos. Nix, too, expressed his interest in playing under the Broncos HC Sean Payton on the Up & Adams show, “I hear that a lot, you know. It would be an honor, you know like Drew Brees, he got to play for Sean Payton and they won a Super Bowl and had great success. He led the league in a lot of statistical categories, had a lot of good seasons, so I’m never going to argue if I get to play for one of the better coaches of all time.”
Being a five-year starter throughout college, Nix will be one of the oldest players in the NFL 2024 class. The quarterback’s “super senior” year saw him deliver the best performance of his career. Now, it is to be seen whether he succeeds in wooing Payton.
