Even though Coastal Carolina won against Arkansas State on Saturday night, they lost their QB for their upcoming game. Updating the fans about the injury, the Coastal posted a message. “As a precautionary measure, Grayson was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation and observation last night.” Yet the worst part became the reality as ahead of the game, Grayson McCall has been deemed medically unfit to play their upcoming game against the Bobcats.

McCall’s injury on Saturday night was nothing less than scary, as the player lay motionless for several minutes on the field. The QB’s head bounced off the turf when Arkansas State defensive end Trevian Thomas launched himself on him. However, Thomas received a personal foul for the move. Grayson McCall continues to reign as one celebrated player in Coastal Carolina’s history. Moreover, he is also awarded as preseason Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year. McCall also became the 146th quarterback in FBS history to reach 10,000 career passing yards. However, Carolina might get the upper hand, as some important Bobcats players also stand injured.
