Deion Sanders just got lucky enough to find a pro swimmer in his roster. It is none other than Travis Hunter. No wonder, like everything else, Colorado Buffaloes’ dual threat has yet again arrived to change the narrative. Becoming the only Buff player in Colorado’s in recent memory to be featured on a game cover, Hunter has earned himself an exalted status. It’s time for him to expose his unknown side to his teammates and fans.

As captured by Well Off Media, he emerged as the apple of the eye during the Navy SEAL training activities. Till now, Hunter’s association with water has only been limited to his love for fishing. Hardly did fans expect Hunter to emerge as the Aquaman.

For a change, Hunter dominates the pool instead of gridiron

During the offseason, Coach Prime is reportedly subjecting his team to training from every branch of the US Armed Forces. Last time, the US Marine Corps was given the duty to train the Buffs; this time, it was the Navy. Deion Sanders knows how to steal the show best. If anyone other than Coach Prime deserves attention, it is the two-way phenom, Hunter. Well Off Media posted a video on Friday, May 31, where the team is captured participating in rigorous water training exercises.

In the video, Hunter emerges as an absolute show-stealer with his swimming strokes. The player is seen engaging in multiple rounds of sprints in the water, and every time, he is the one to touch the edge first. With Deion Sanders Jr.’s every chant from the side of the pool of “Sweet Boy… you are a sweet boy,” Hunter felt more pumped up. With this, the two-way phenom showcased his ability to perform in stressful and often uncomfortable environments. Fans who were now exposed to his on-field skills could not help but go crazy about Hunter’s aquatic skills.
