McCaskill’s humble honors
In the latest podcast of DNVR Sports, Jake Schwanitz sought McCaskill’s opinion on the Buffaloes’ ‘vote of confidence’ for not opting for any running back recruits this year. Acknowledging the coaching staff’s belief in the existing roster of running backs, McCaskill believes it will align with the team’s needs, “I guess you can say that I mean I’m very like I said I’m a very strong believer in putting the best guys out there. So I guess I’m very honored to have them feel like what I’m saying like their room is enough and that they’re good.”

The Buffaloes prodigy took this as an opportunity to acknowledge the skills of the teammates, “Shout out to all the running backs, first of all, Micah is a beast, Savon is a beast; Charlie’s a beast Dylan is an absolute beast he’s going to have a breakout year. I’m just very happy to even be a part of a room like that.” Hence, the theme of teamwork sets the tone for Colorado Buffaloes for the upcoming season.
