As the winds of change blow through Boulder, it has been reportedly suggested that Sanders has earned the trust of Anthony Weaver.

With the esteemed Baltimore Ravens assistant defensive line coach into the fold, the Buffaloes are to witness their defensive prowess reach new heights. However, it was after Mike Macdonald departed from Ravens that propelled Sanders to count on Weaver.

As per the reports, Sanders in an interview with Undisputed had promised to find the Buffaloes a defensive coordinator. Surprisingly, Coach Prime made the impossible possible by finding an alternative in Weaver. The Ravens’ defensive coordinator brings in a wealth of experience having served as the defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.

With over 12 years of coaching under his belt, Weaver’s NFL pedigree seamlessly aligns with the vision that Sanders holds aiming at improving Colorado’s defense. With this, the decision comes as a blow for the Ravens, the first being Mike Macdonald’s move to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks officially introduced Macdonald as their new head coach on January 31, Wednesday. With this, he assumes the title of the NFL’s youngest coach at the age of 36.
