Mission JuJu has a heavyweight contender. The five-star QB Julian JuJu Lewis’ wow moment is approaching. And as the day big day nears, the plot thickens. On July 27, DNVR Sports explored the likelihood of the programs now chasing Lewis, including USC, Colorado, Auburn, and Indiana. And guess who bagged the “new dark horse” title? It’s Indiana. The podcast hosts are impressed with the program’s over-the-top efforts to land Lewis. On July 20, the QB had a special moment of receiving a special honor. Before this, Deion and Colorado showered him with star treatment. Will this dampen Coach Prime’s morale?

College football is yet to get closure regarding Lewis. Hence, the podcast hosts thought it wise to discuss the four teams pursuing the QB. According to Jake Schwanitz, Auburn might lag among the four programs, “Steve Wilfong said that all four teams USC Colorado Auburn and Indiana feel good with where rest stand but it see does seem like Auburn is dropping off recruiting other guys at this point.” So what? The chasing game became stronger, with Indiana doubling its power to land Lewis, filling up the gap created by Auburn.

While the Hoosiers might not enjoy the craze like the Buffs or the Trojans, they have that fire that led RK to comment, “Indiana what a dark horse!” Indiana’s quarterback coach, Tino Sunseri, deserves all the credit for putting his 100% into gaining Lewis’ trust. And here, the podcast co-host passed a funny jab, “I mean maybe that guitar that they gave him to take a picture with really swayed him in that direction.” As seen in the photoshoot, Lewis, decked up in a Hoosiers jersey, was holding a red-colored guitar. Are you talking about efforts? Then you are definitely missing out on Deion and Colorado’s epic hustle which is only for JuJu.

Peggy Coppom’s message and Boulder’s burger tribute to Lewis

In Mission JuJu, the Buffs HC stood out in the creativity meter. Deion pulled out an ace by assigning 99-year-old Buffs super fan Peggy Coppom with the big task of wooing Lewis. And Coppom passed the test with distinction. On May 23, Laura Levy posted her video trying to win the five-star QB’s heart. The loyal fan’s message went like, “Juju I have been cheering for this Colorado Buffs team for 84 years and I’m getting tired of being a good loser. I would love to be a good winner. So come on out here and play for us and help us win.”

However, this was not the end, as the Buffs intensified their efforts to court Lewis. This time, they thought of doing it more fun. Never did the residents of Boulder think of gorging into their favorite burger named after a five-star quarterback. After all, it’s Colorado; nothing is impossible.

Right before Lewis visited Deion’s program, the famous 101-year-old burger and pizza joint in Boulder, The Sink, thought to honor the quarterback. They introduced a special burger named JuJu’s Precision Pass Burger.” Now, who’s going to snag the trophy for trying the hardest? Do share your thoughts!
