Deiondra Sanders is winning at pregnancy and fashion simultaneously, and the soon-to-be-grandparents could not be more proud. As their daughter rocked her baby bump in a $39.99 dress with style and flair, Colorado Buffs Head Coach Deion Sanders and his ex-wife Carolyn Chambers showered their daughter with love in the comment section of her Instagram post.

Even though Deiondra’s mother had been skeptical about her continuing with her pregnancy, she ensured that her pregnancy journey was special by throwing her a baby shower. Meanwhile, Deion Sanders has supported Deiondra through thick and thin and recently made an unusual request!

Deiondra’s maternity style gets a thumbs-up from both parents

Deiondra is gliding down the pregnancy runway like a “pro.” On July 9, she was spotted with her sweetheart, Jacquees, at an event, sporting a classic brown and black patterned FashionNova jumpsuit. She posted the pictures with a sassy caption, “Embracing the beauty of motherhood @fashionnova | Chase Me Forever Jumpsuit”. The Buffs HC and doting father, was one of the first to express his love as Sanders commented, “Get yours baby!” Carolyn also flooded her with affection, writing, “Love the jumpsuit! You look beautiful baby. Yo man looking good too.”

However, it took Carolyn some time to make peace with the fact that her daughter chose to continue the pregnancy despite her health concerns, as Deiondra is carrying seven fibroids and is at high risk of miscarriage. As the soon-to-be mother once revealed in an interview right after the gender reveal party, “I told my mom the stuff I want..I don’t know if she is with it…I am on my research of the birth plan..but I think this is what my mom won’t be expecting, might be a little upset.” But things are a bit different with her dad, Deion Sanders.

Deion Sanders countdown on grandparenthood

On March 8, Deiondra shared her pregnancy news and the complications surrounding it on Instagram, and Deion Sanders responded with a supportive comment. A part of Coach Prime’s comment read “You’ve always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain’t gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I’m UP.” Although he once confessed that at the age of 56, he feels too young to become a granddad, Sanders has encouraged Deiondra to make the right choices for herself.

Now he is counting down the seconds to hold his grandson in his arms. An excited Deion Sanders posted on IG, “Get your baby! We don’t have long. Yes yes yes, I mean… lololol My baby gon take us in the delivery room if they let her.”

Deion Sanders and his family have already dubbed Deiondra’s baby boy ‘lil engine’. While the name is sorted, hardly anyone expected Coach Prime to decide which sport he would play. However, Granda Prime has everything figured out, as he said, “Sanders boy. We’ve already signed him up for soccer lessons!” Will baby Deiondra take up his uncle Shedeur’s place?
