The temperature is rising with the upcoming game against North Dakota State on August 29. The craze has left college football fans split. On May 14, it was taken up on the DNVR Buffs podcast, where co-host Ryan Koenigsberg came up with his view on the divide based on Deion’s chances of taking over North Dakota, “There is a Grand Canyon-sized gap between the haters and the believers.” While some Buffs fans themselves are having second thoughts, here comes Spencer McLaughlin to guide them through their lack of belief.

On the Locked on College Football podcast, the analyst did not even flinch a bit before coming up with a bold prediction about Colorado’s future, “I think that for Colorado they are winning this game.” While making this big claim his confidence seemed to have reached the ceiling as he further stated, “Right now put a gun to my head and make me have a selection here I’d go Colorado minus 8 and a half because what’s easy to forget about Colorado…number one they were a better football team with Deion Sanders at the helm and Shedeur Sanders quarterback.” Deion Sanders’ ambitious plan to build a fence for his son Shedeur is becoming a reality during the evaluation phase in North Dakota State.

Shedeur’s protection plan underway

Deion Sanders holds fast to the belief that Shedeur will be a Top-5 pick. But now, the Buffs HC faces the immediate scenario in college football. This game serves as a crucial stepping stone for the QB’s transition to the NFL. Emerging as the most-sacked player last season, Coach Prime is determined to protect Shedeur this time. He believes that a strong and reliable offensive line is fundamental to both his team’s and his son’s success.

With this, the Buffs are expected to start Jordan Seaton, the country’s No. 1 prep offensive line recruit, at the most glamorous position on the unit. To keep Shedeur out of harm’s way, Sanders and OL coach Phil Landholt count on big shots like Justin Mayers, Kahlil Benson, and Tyler Johnson to become one big shield for Shedeur.

The freshly curated O-Line and Shedeur’s talents will be enough to scare off North Dakota State, who will be facing Deion Sanders’ squad for the first time under their new HC, Tim Polasek. Coach Prime will be careful about committing no missteps in Shedeur’s last season in college football. He wants to keep it simple by following only one motto: “Run the ball; stop the ball.”

August 29 will have all the answers.
