Despite a challenging transfer season, Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes are demonstrating remarkable resilience. As front-runners, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are spearheading the team’s efforts to restore their reputation. While their two-way phenom has been in the limelight for his breakthrough EA Sports College Football 25 cover, things seemed little to celebrate for Shedeur.

However, Deion Sanders’ quarterback son and his mate Hunter are far from being defeated as far as the NIL is concerned. Their potential is a source of excitement and intrigue. Meanwhile, the NCAA has dropped a high-stake revenue race, as shown in the Buffs News Weekly podcast. You are already guessing who will emerge as the winner: the Buffs, of course.

NCAA’s revenue revolution turns out to be in Colorado’s favor

The podcast host says the NCAA is looking for more revenue-generating ways. To give a clearer picture of the financial benefits that the change will give rise to, he claims, “Through the possibility of on-field advertising and even potentially Jersey ads it’s estimated that a field logo could generate up to $1 million per year while a jersey sponsorship for the year could bring in $5 million per season.” However, in this new wave of capitalism that has hit the NCAA, Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes are safe enough; courtesy goes to Shedeur and Hunter for keeping their program afloat.

According to the analysis of the host, “The number one driver of corporate sponsorships is brand recognition and eyes and clicks as well. While Dan Lanning might say we only play for clicks those clicks lead to more eyes and those eyes lead to higher revenue and higher sponsorships which in turn can help Colorado in the recruiting game.” He then mentions how Shedeur and Hunter have been the two stalwarts, considering they hold the top spot in NIL valuation.

As Shedeur tops the NIL chart, Hunter climbs the ladder

Shedeur might have been charged for his poor performance and heavy sack records in the last season, but his NIL rankings have whitewashed all the criticism. Per the latest ranking by On3.com, the Buffs quarterback sensation is at the top, standing at $4.7 million, the highest among the NCAA football players. We will be equally contended if we shift the focus from Shedeur to Hunter.

Even though Buffs’ dual threat is nowhere near Shedeur, he is the second college football player to make it to the list. Besides, he is fifth on the list among all athletes, with a valuation of $2.3 million. Until last month, Hunter was the third highest-ranked football player in NIL valuations behind Sanders and Texas quarterback Arch Manning. However, as soon as the EA Sports College Football 25 dropped its cover, it made a place for the Buffs two-way phenom to take the second spot, surpassing Manning.

As a fan mocked up an idea of a Colorado Louis Vuitton Jersey collab, it is highly likely for Colorado’s two front runners to sport an LV jersey. In that case, will Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter emerge as the reformers to the “play for clicks” narrative, bringing the attack in their favor?
