Coach Prime might just take a long inhale now, as times are finally changing for (hopefully) good for the Colorado Buffs. It is safe to say that Deion Sanders had a couple of heavy weeks this season, especially the recent ones. Joining with Colorado not only brought losses to the team but also a direct pointing finger at the two-time Super Bowl champion’s reputation.

To make things worse, the Buffs boys were robbed on October 28th at Rose Bowl. However, they were not the only ones as the UCLA players were also robbed of their belongings, which reportedly went missing from their locker rooms. However, Coach Prime recently took to his social media handle to announce major updates regarding the stolen jewelry.

Deion Sanders on the robbery

Well, one thing is clear: Sanders cares the utmost for his boys. This was evident from his speech during his press conference after the incident took place. Not only did Sanders ask the NCAA authorities to look into the matter, but also opined that the players should be reimbursed for their loss. “This is the Rose Bowl. They said the granddaddy of ‘em all, right? I’m sure Granddaddy had some money. Grandpa should have some money to give these kids.”

Moreover, taking things above and beyond, Coach Prime also emphasized on the importance of jewelry for college kids. He also mentioned the importance of the knowledge of insurance, which he would impart to the boys himself. However, as the Rose Bowl and the NCAA are two different entities, it would be not quite the responsibility of the NCAA, as much as it will be of the Rose Bowl authorities, to probe further into the matter.
