Sanders’ approach to strengthening the core

At the end of the last season, the Buffaloes had been in a poor spot by concluding the season at 4-8. Paying attention to bolstering up the squad, Sanders emphasized scaling up their positions in a different manner and enlightened, “Scale positions so we build it from outside in and not the inside out.”

Recognizing the need for a robust interior, Sanders as the head coach has shifted the focus towards fortifying the core. As a result of this, he has channeled his attention to laying the foundation for a more balanced and resilient squad.

As a result of this, the new additions to the Buffaloes include,  “So we went out and got the lineman on both sides, couple linebackers, couple more corners, couple more receivers for your door to have a good time with tight-end and we cooling. We’re not done. Soon after spring there’s going to be more additions.”

Coach Prime praises Seaton

When enquired about one of the newly-possessed talents of the Buffaloes, Sanders recognizes the standout quality in player Jordan Seaton. He shared his admiration for the top-ranked lineman. Being mesmerized by Seaton’s humility in a sport often characterized by individual prowess and fierce competition, Coach Prime admits, “Because we have some linemen now that are grown men that don’t play and he being humble enough listen to them and glean from them because they’ve been in college football for a few years now”.

Some of the reported names that come up in Sanders’ preference list are Cordale Russell for the receivers, quarterback Walter Taylor III, and tight-end Chamon Metayer among others. With this, he leaves fans and opponents at the edge of their seats as Buffaloes prepare themselves to face the challenges that lie ahead.
