Carolyn Chambers defends the unborn ‘lil Boy’

Recently, Coach Prime’s daughter, Deiondra, announced she’s expecting a baby boy at her gender reveal party on May 18th. Unfortunately, Deion couldn’t attend the celebration, but he expressed his love in a heartfelt message, saying, “Much love. Much respect and I’m proud of my big baby girl.” The 56-year-old couldn’t contain his excitement about becoming a grandad. He said, “She’s gonna have lil boy. So the little engine is going to be a little boy.”

He even joked about already signing the baby up for soccer lessons with top coaches. He playfully teased about the baby’s potential height, saying, “She’s saying that he’s going to be tall, but they said the same thing about Bucky.”

His ex-wife, Carolyn, quickly came to Deiondra’s defense in the comments, stating, “Over by 6,” giving an assurance to the “Lil boy”. Interestingly, she also re-shared the entire video of Deion’s message on her Instagram story. A heartwarming moment for them after decades!

Baby makes things better for Coach Prime and his ex-wife

Since announcing her pregnancy, Deiondra has been showered with love and support from her parents. Deion, the soon-to-be grandfather, is making sure his daughter stays healthy during her pregnancy by advising her not to drink alcohol or take drugs. He also expressed, “I want to make sure she’s straight emotionally and psychologically.” At times, Deion also shared his pride and wishes for a smooth pregnancy journey on Deiondra’s Instagram.

Meanwhile, Deiondra’s mother, Carolyn, has been a constant source of support behind the scenes. She accompanies her daughter to appointments, including anatomy scans, and offers comfort throughout the challenges of Deiondra’s pregnancy with fibroids. It appears that the anticipation of their “lil engine” has brought Deion and Carolyn closer together after years of distance. Now the recent IG exchange confirms that they have put the past behind them, focusing on creating a positive and loving environment for their grandchild.
