Edmonds speaks highly of Shelomi

The A&M women’s basketball coach Dawn Thornton had embarked on a recruiting trail and promised to bring back a familiar face into HBCU quarters. As planned, he landed up the former Jackson State and Colorado transfer. On April 26, Shelomi broke the silence through her Instagram post where she is seen wearing Alabama’s jersey with the number “22”. The caption of the post read, “comin to the hill”.

As this news reached fans, the comment section outpoured with heartfelt reactions. Among the plethora of comments, one reaction stands out for a reason. It came from none other than the American entertainment industry empress, Tracey Edmonds. She wrote, “Congratulations Shelomi! You will be GREAT there!” This has come off as a surprise for both Shelomi and Deion’s fans considering how Coach Prime and Edmonds’ relationship had hit rock bottom.

Edmond-Sanders relationship timeline

It was in 2012 that Sanders and Edmonds met at a movie premiere party.  They duo came closer on the sets of the reality series produced by the latter known as “Deion’s Family Playbook”. The coach-producer power couple carried their relationship through 11 years. Fans were convinced about their bond hitting a milestone after they got engaged on the Valentines’ Day in 2019. However, their relationship suffered a major setback five years after exchanging rings.

In December, last year Edmonds and Sanders ended their engagement. Taking to Instagram, Edmonds confirmed how it was her decision not to carry the relationship any longer. However, she refused to go badmouthing about Sanders, instead clarified the reason being the difference in priorities. Coach Prime too walked on the same path carrying forward with him the good moments he shared with Edmonds.

Since they have ended things on a good note, Edmonds still is in a position to share her words of support for Shelomi on a public platform. While Shelomi is yet to reply back to the Goddess of American entertainment industry, fans went gaga over how Sanders family tree abides by harmonizing positive relationships with everyone.
