It is a no-touch game going on with the Colorado Buffaloes. The head coach, Deion Sanders, calls attention to the players’ roster so as not to touch the quarterback. Deion Sanders makes it very clear to avoid physical contact with the quarterback sensation, Shedeur Sanders. Coach Prime follows his quarterback son’s “DT2” motto to give the instructions.

Because of this, Sanders also ensures that it is instilled within the players’ mindset right from the spring practice. However, beyond this, Deion Sanders also has some instructions for the players.

Deion Sanders’ attempt to address Shedeur’s demand among the Buffs roster

No intricacies within the game can surpass the watchful eyes of Deion Sanders. Even during the practice sessions, Coach Prime deconstructs every move of each player playing for different divisions. During the latest spring game practice, Sanders highlighted how to maintain distance from each other even in the heat of the moment. He instructed the players, “We will not touch the receiving tight ends are getting hit tight ends and the running backs are getting hit do not touch the quarterback.”

However, instantly, Deion Sanders followed up with another big purpose for the players. He said, “But we going to work today we going to go hard today but we going to take care each other today we got that?” Shedeur abides by this motto: Defenders are not allowed to make contact with him.

Shedeur’s big game plan in detail

Most offensive linemen are considered non-eligible receivers, but running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers are eligible to catch a pass. For this season, Shedeur has come up with a new mantra. The Buffaloes quarterback mentioned his new motto as “DT2” or “Don’t Touch 2.” With this, he points at himself as he plays, donning the No. 2 gold, black, and silver.

The phrase “DT2” carries a greater significance as he elaborates on his strategy. In a YouTube interview, Shedeur revealed, “Look at that we got DT2 on top. Don’t touch 2, that’s the motto this year. We got to get the lineman. They created that so it’s a whole team. It’s a different energy, different movement.” Even though it may sound like shielding the quarterback is the most important move for the Buffaloes, what it actually intends is the responsibility of every Buffs player to recognize the significance of an offensive line.

During the training session before the big event, Black and Gold Day, Deion Sanders reiterates Shedeur’s winning mantra. In the heat of the moment on the field, it is now up to the Buffs to decide whether to heed Coach Prime’s words and abide by Shedeur’s game plan.
