Hunter is about to get a breakthrough beyond gridiron

Recent reports have shed some light on the EA College Football 2025 situation. Kirk Herbstreit, the ESPN College GameDay analyst, has confirmed his involvement in the game, hinting at the possibility of Hunter featuring on the BIG12 covers. This possibility was further confirmed by Barstool Big12’s tweet, stating the situation has gained some clarity in the case of EA College Football 2025. Kirk Herbstreit, ESPN Colleg GameDay analyst, earlier revealed that he would be the one to lend his voice to the upcoming title. Herbstreit now hinted at the possibility of seeing Hunter’s face on the Big12 covers. Barstool Big12 has confirmed this possibility in their latest tweet, which claimed, “There is a very strong rumor that Travis Hunter is to be the Big12 cover athlete for CFB25.”

However, it’s not that Shedeur will not get any chance to compete. Per college football licensing insider Matt Brown of Extra Points, “there are multiple cover athletes since EA is releasing multiple versions of the video game.” In case Shedeur does not get a chance to grace the BIG12 covers, he can make use of the times ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft to secure an edge over Hunter.

Will Hunter give Shedeur a tough call in the 2025 NFL Draft?

Even though it has not been a month since the 2024 NFL Draft has dropped curtains, the countdown has begun for 2025’s BIG12. Regarding the 2025 NFL Draft, Shedeur is expected to land a top place, leaving Hunter behind. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Shedeur is currently at +100 odds to be the No. 1 pick next year.

However, going by ESPN’s draft projections, Colorado’s quarterback sensation lands in late first, while the two-way star performer will earn a place in the top three. Since Hunter will be a sought-after prospect on either side of the ball, so he is considered a No. 2 pick. Even though Deion Sanders’ son ranks higher for some others, his questionable sacks score (49 taken last year) can stand in the way. With this, the quarterback can land in a spot as low as 28.

The Colorado Buffaloes fans will hardly have dull moments in the upcoming year. The Shedeur-Hunter positive competition will keep them hooked to the gridiron and promise them a thrilling time while enjoying EA College Football 2025. It’s time for $2 million worth of Hunter to become a poster boy.
