Three-time dunk champion, Nate Robinson has been known for his electrifying performances on the basketball court. However, the former NBA player’s latest source of pride comes from the football field. His son, Nahmier Robinson has been making waves as a cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Nate shared a glimpse of his son’s training program. The rigorous training program has been initiated in the Buffaloes team by Deion Sanders adding a touch of US Marine Corps training to bring out the best potential of the players.

Proud father moment for Nate Robinson

Deion Sanders with the aim of boosting stamina and overall physical efficiency on the field, has implemented a change in the training program by adding a touch of Marine Corps style. Hence, the players had to revamp their coaching sessions in order to be at par with Sanders’ expectations. It was from one such training session that a moment has been captured and shared on Instagram.  The recent picture posted by Robinson with the caption, “Ok @meezy2fast I see you working son“, captures a moment of triumph for the cornerback, showcasing his hard work and dedication on the gridiron.

Nahmier’s passion for football can be traced back to his father, who went to Washington on a football scholarship. As he embarks on his journey as a freshman walk-on with Sanders’ Buffaloes, the narrative weaves together elements of family legacy and resilience.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Buffaloes cornerback hailing from Skyline High School has showcased versatility in the sports. With 36 tackles, 11 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions, Robinson’s dynamic skill set garnered attention from various schools. He has propelled Buffaloes to the limelight by touching the end zone as a runner, receiver, and on interception return, multiple times.

In an interview, Robinson expressed his desire to join the Buffaloes strongly driven by his role model, Deion Sanders. He stated, “I want to play for the best because Coach Prime is the GOAT, so I just want to play for somebody as special as him.” Fans and followers eagerly cheer on the rising star as he treads on the next chapter in collegiate sports with the uttermost dedication.
