Deion Sanders is presumably stirred and shaken by the loss of one of his childhood actors. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s, there was this Hollywood actor that stole the limelight. He was a brilliant actor and renowned for playing one character in particular. Sanders along with several others mourned the death of the actor.

Coach Prime, who’s himself an influential person in the NCAA championship, draws his inspiration from this legendary actor. The celebrated performer died in the early hours of the morning as he recently passed 81 years of age. Sanders loved to see his movies and praised him as the HC shared an emotional post on his Instagram.

Prime Time was crestfallen and shattered after the loss of a legendary actor. Richard Roundtree, the action hero known for his portrayal of John Shaft, died earlier today due to pancreatic cancer. The actor who was 81 years of age was a cult action figure for the people growing up in the 80’s and 90’s era.

Deion too vocalized his emotions and penned down an emotional note on Instagram. “God bless all associated with the great and legendary Richard Roundtree “Shaft” He was truly 1 of my childhood heroes. He was Him!!!”

The emotional yet lovable post highlighted Sanders’s immense adulation for the actor. Calling him a childhood hero, Prime Time did inherit some of the actor’s qualities. Showing flamboyance, embodying confidence, and keeping the opposition on their toes. All these traits are significant in every Roundtree movie and can be seen in Deion’s character as well!

Calling the hero his idol, Coach Prime amongst several others was devastated by the cinema’s loss. Sanders now shifts his focus to the Buffaloes’ next game against UCLA.

Colorado Buffaloes’ current season is going through some phases. Despite being inconsistent in their last four games, Sanders is unnerved about the challenges coming ahead. UCLA Bruins would be playing hosts to the visiting Buffaloes side in their all-important clash. He was recently questioned about the unnamed QB on the UCLA side. Deion Sanders replied with a whiff of confidence.

“You prepare for the team, not the individual. With them, you prepare more for their coach. He’s phenomenal, I’m a Chip Kelly fan. I took Shedeur to a camp there and remember having a dialogue with Coach Kelly. I respect the heck out of him.” Deion gave another classy reply and shut the reporter with his answer. Fans would hope that the fiery answers are not just reserved for the presentations and Sanders’ team replies on the field as well!

The death of Deion’s hero has marked a sad day for Americans today. It’s a day to remember the prolific actor and perhaps watch his Shaft series to remember Roundtree’s legacy.
