The NFL fans know wide receiver Keon Coleman’s talents in the gridiron. They are probably unaware that the Buffalo Bills receiver has a deep interest in golf. It was only last week that the Bills landed Coleman, and it was time for some ice-breaking sessions. Known for his strong affinity toward football, inquisitiveness arose regarding what sport interests him beyond the field.

Coleman disclosed he tries his hand at some clubs and balls in his spare time. What followed was the rookie’s comment about golf giant Tiger Woods.

Coleman’s detailing of his hobbies left others in stitches

Coleman was picked with the first pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Fresh out of Florida State, all eyes were upon him, and what better time to drop a Woods banger? The Bills were seemingly already fascinated by the 20-year-old’s skill set, which led them to share an interest in the rookie’s other favorites. A video of Coleman’s preliminary interview with Buffalo went viral, and the whole room of officials was seen laughing. While discussing his hobbies, the wide receiver revealed, “Relax at home, play golf. Play a little bowling.” What followed raised a laughter rally on social media as he continued, “I’m Tiger WishHeCould not Tiger Woods.”

He further expressed his deep love for the game, “I wish I could putt and do all that. Those boys that shoot five dimes, I don’t do all that… But I will go have fun. It’s controlled chaos. You get frustrated but you can’t get angry, pull a muscle in your back trying to hit the ball. So it forces me to stay calm and swing, just doing it.” This was enough for the experts to take Coleman’s comment and reign on online platforms.

Expert commentary on Coleman’s sense of humor

Eminent journalist Ron Stewart could not help but recommend Coleman’s carefree nature, as he did not attempt to hide his true personality. Stewart states, “Being this naturally funny and nonchalant in a team interview at the combine is insane. Like this is the biggest job interview of his life and Keon Coleman is just unapologetically himself. I love it.” Then Senior editor Lindsay Jones gave the wide receiver a new tag, saying, “College football, why did none of you tell us about Keon Coleman: Content Machine?”

Fantasy Football ranker Matthew Freedman expressed his wish to pursue Coleman, “Non-zero chance the Bills drafted Keon Coleman for who he is as a person more than what he does as a player. The more I see of him, the more I’m like, ‘This dude is so cool, I want him on my fantasy team, and then I’ll just hope he can ball.'” The official page of Rivals posted Coleman’s poster with his comment printed with the caption, “Keon Coleman is hilarious.” Michigan Rivals publisher Josh Henschke, too, praised him for his sarcastic comment, “I had no idea Keon Coleman was this damn likable. This is hilarious.” Coleman has already spread his charm as Dallas Mavericks’ Game host Kevin Gray Jr. claimed, “‘I’m Tiger WishHeCould’ is one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard, that’s an amazing response! Loving Keon Coleman already!”

Now that Coleman has won hearts with his sense of humor, the Bills will no longer have to look back at the spin that Stefon Diggs left when he parted ways this offseason. Since his comment has reached every corner of the sport, we can expect a comeback from Tiger Woods himself.
