Nothing could stop Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes from making a big hit this time. Other than molding players physically through their summer training, the Buffs are on their way to attaining fitness inside out. As the Colorado Governor, Camden Dempsey, appeared for a live interview posted on his YouTube channel, he was asked about the one need Buffaloes have now.

While the fans expected some changes in the coaching roster, Campden’s answer surprised them. Not players or coaches, Deion Sanders’ program is in a hunt for a good nutritionist.

Buffs’ attempt to fuel victory through a team nutritionist quest

The Buffs’ new roster is ready to go, and now it’s up to the players to mentally and physically prepare themselves. As far as their physical training is concerned, Deion Sanders has it covered. Last season, Coach Prime took a unique approach involving the US Marine Corps to enhance their mental and physical performance. But there has been a void in the guidance on what the players should eat. Campden comes up with the issue, “So one thing that we need is a team nutritionist. We are really looking for the best college football team nutritionist out there. We’re looking for people who want to win who want to be a part of a winning culture.”

Holding a degree in nutrition is not enough since whoever applies for the role must be able to walk hand-in-hand with the program’s needs. As the search is on, Sanders’ reliable governor lets out their goal through the recruitment spree, “We’ve been looking we haven’t found anyone yet so if you are anyone you know uh is a great Sports dietician wants to come to work with the players help us win this season.” While the players have yet to start with a healthy diet, they must look up to their coach, Sanders, who has already taken up the fitness challenge.

Fifty-six-year-old Deion Sanders is all pumped up about his fitness game, so much so that he is now keeping track even when he is eating out. Right before the Black and Gold Day, Coach Prime expressed his concern about body fat, especially around his belly. As fitness starts from the plate, he even went to have a one-to-one conversation with the chef on one such occasion. While raising his concern, Sanders said, “I told Chef I got to get rid of some of this belly fat. I’m trying to get lean and need for this season so Chef please explain to them Chef what you got me on.”

As the coach confessed, the only goal for all this was, “I want to be good.” Sanders himself revealed his diet plan, in which his prime breakfast mainly consists of a bowl of oats with banana accompanied by another plate of eggs, bacon, and tomato.

To make the most out of his diet, the coach pairs it with following a strict routine of waking up at 5 in the morning followed by a gym session before practice. Until Campden and Company finalize a nutritionist, Deion Sanders is always ready to help his boys with some fitness mantra.
