He shared a sentimental note stating, “He was Professional, Classy, Well Dressed, Spoke Well, A Straight Baller, A Game Changer that also faced Adversity and Overcame it. This is why He will always be my HERO! They called him the DOCTOR and he didn’t have a P.H.D !”

Coach Prime did not think a second before bowing down in front of his childhood hero.
The 76ers legend too was touched by Sanders’ reaction and at the unexpected display of admiration. As a reaction to this heartfelt gesture, Dr. J described the incident as “That didn’t really happen. It’s a mirage. You just think it happened.” This poignant exchange has been a full-circle moment for Deion Sanders.
It is interesting to note that Sanders and Erving share many things in common including earning Hall of Fame inductions in their respective sports. However, beyond these accolades what brings them together is their positive outlook towards life.
