Even weeks after Shilo Sanders underwent surgery, his brother, Shedeur could not get over how he behaved in the operating room. Injecting a healthy dose of humor into the otherwise serious routine surgical scenario, Shedeur brought up the topic when Shilo was engaged in a conversation with Coach Prime’s athletic trainer, Lauren Askevold.

This takes the fans back to Shilo’s comedic take on anesthesia followed by a horse tranquilizer joke. It also reveals how for the Sanders brothers any challenge can be overcome with humor, much like their father Deion Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders brings back a reference to Shilo’s surgical comedy

Back in January, this year, the Colorado safety, Shilo had to undergo surgery. Deion Sanders’ youngest son, got an ACL (Anterior cruciate ligament) injury. As a result of this injury, he was left with a broken ‘pinky’ finger while he was a part of the Jackson State.

In an attempt to fix the injury, he underwent surgery that had added a dose of laughter to the narrative, so much so, that even months later, Shedeur and others could not get over that.  The latest video posted by The Pregame Show captured Shedeur’s comment, “Only whenever there was like you going to go to sleep yeah like I don’t do drugs but I need them send me.”

Shilo’s anesthesia-induced antics became so viral that even Askevold asked Shedeur in excitement, “Did you watch this whole thing?” What better chance for the Buffaloes quarterback to step in and poke fun at his sibling? As Shilo embarks on the road to recovery, his jovial nature captured through video resurfaces on the internet.

Humorous prelude to Shilo’s surgery

Even though, the condition of Shilo’s finger has been serious as he once claimed, “It really just stayed like this but it used to be swollen, but I guess I tore a ligament in there, right tendon,” he refused to show any sort of nervousness before the surgery. Instead, his initial bravado gave way to utter amusement.

Shilo’s fearless banter with the medical professionals while on his way to the operating room exposed his light-hearted suggestion stating, “I’m really built I’m really built different you know what I’m saying yeah like y’all going to need some horse tranquilizers give me down.” However, ultimately, a bit of fear started to show up as soon as the anesthesia began to take effect, as Shilo exclaimed, “They put horse tranquilizer for real.”

The unexpected comedic interlude seems to have a long-term after-effect as Shedeur seems to be still not over it. Hence, in the world of Shilo and Shedeur, every moment becomes an opportunity to bask in the uncertainty that life throws at you and to deal with it with laughter and openness.
