Coach Prime, known for his fatherly side, shares a deeply emotional message for another father. As Colorado’s former defensive back, Israel Solomon departs Boulder and enters the transfer portal, his father’s X post echoes with profound gratitude for Sanders and his program.

The coach, too, floated on the same spirit as he shouted out to Solomon’s father and penned a heartfelt farewell. This shows Solomon walking a positive path, unlike Xavier Smith who held Coach Prime responsible for hitting the portal.

Exchange of positivity and gratitude between Sanders and Solomon’s family

Solomon’s dad, Zurich Solomon, acknowledged Coach Prime’s contribution by sharing all the positive things his son has been exposed to while he was part of the Buffs’ roster. In his post, he thanked the Colorado football program and especially appreciated Sanders’ decision to give Solomon a chance and the vision he held for him. This left Sanders with a feeling of longing for the player and he sought the help of his pen to express his emotions. He tweeted, “You’re a great father my brother and I pray things work out for the family. You truly sacrificed for your son and family and that’s appreciated truly. God bless u my brother and keep the standard the standard. Love ya man!”

Amidst high expectations, the 6-foot, 180-pound physical speedster Solomon made a significant impact. From his red-shirted year to his standout performance in the Black and Gold Spring Game, he was a force to be reckoned with. Unlike his teammate Smith, his transfer has been a positive move for the player and the program.

When the news flashed that Smith had cut ties with the Buffaloes, the next question was what led him to. It was then that the ugly spat started as the player stated to have been under a negative environment in the Buffs program. Attacking Sanders, he stated, “I was actually getting mad, like tears coming to my eyes. Because, bro, you never even tried to get to know me.  He was destroying guys’ confidence and belief in themselves. The way he did it, it could’ve been done with a little more compassion.”

Even though Sanders did not reply to him directly and only shared a screenshot of Smith’s stats with the caption “Lawd Jesus”, it was Shedeur who charged Smith directly. In one of his tweets, the quarterback wrote, “Ion even remember him tbh. Bro had to be very mid at best.” It was again in the comment section when Sanders made an entry when a fan condemned Shedeur for his expert commentary, “Tell yo son stop act like he the coldest out here then put up a  4-8 season”. To this Coach Prime took a stand for his son and retorted back, “He will be a top 5 pick. Where yo son going ? Lololol I got time today. Lololol”.

With Solomon and Smith exiting, the Buffaloes now have around 40 players who have jumped out of the program. Hence, instead of devoting himself to all the negative talk, Deion Sanders now channels his energy and focus to fill the gaps and build an even stronger roster this time.
