The Sanders brothers have planned a sneaker heist!

Until now, Deion Sanders Jr. was considered the only contender for his father’s “Prime Years.” However, his brother Shedeur has also made a claim, yearning for the prize catch!

One must say that the Colorado Buffaloes’ quarterback has incredible luck: a few months ago, the $1 billion-worth LeBron “King” James gifted Shedeur a $319 hamper. Why must then he want Coach Prime’s pair?

Deion Jr. has had his eyes peeled on Coach Prime’s white-and-red “Prime Years” gifted by James for quite some time now. He wants to own them by any means and has tried to convince his father through an Instagram post. He wrote, “I found these in your office, you might as well let me wear these to Miami tomorrow – @deionsandersjr (I asked you on here because you can’t say no in front of everybody).” Little did Bucky realize that his brother, Shedeur, too, was in the queue. As the Buffs QB commented, “Bring them white on white ones.”

Instead of letting sibling rivalry prevail, Bucky and Shedeur joined forces to wrest their dad’s treasured sneakers. With this, Deion Jr. came up with a reassurance, “I’m about to go to his office. I’ll FaceTime u in a second.”

Why could they not own a pair? The craze is real since they belong to LeBron James’ “Prime Year” colorway, which the basketball legend created while paying tribute to Coach Prime.

James debuted the Nike LeBron 21 in the “Prime Year” colorway in April as a sign of respect to Deion Sanders and his retro signature sneakers. The colorway signifies what Nike could achieve in a bygone era. The Buffs’ head coach was an ace athlete who straddled different sports. It is, therefore, apt that his cross-trainers are popular on the court.

Importantly, fans should not expect this colorway to be available for purchase on store shelves.

Meanwhile, Shedeur could give up his position and allow his brother to have the sneakers, especially since he already has one from James’ collection.

Shedeur felt a surge of pride upon receiving the ultimate treasure

For a reason, LeBron James is a legend, having fulfilled Shedeur’s long-time wish. On October 24, last year, Deion’s QB son came up with his wish as he asked the NBA legend for shoes and a jersey after the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Denver Nuggets in the season’s opening match. He didn’t foresee the Lakers superstar making his starry-eyed dreams come true.

As posted by DNVR Buffs, Shedeur gave an iconic walk of pride as he stepped into the locker room. It took little time for his teammates to discover the reason behind the QB’s self-esteem boost. After all, his talents landed him in the list of James’ favorites. With this arrived premium goodies. Shedeur’s treasure handed by the NBA star featured a Lakers jersey worth $119 and LeBron’s shoes worth $200.

James’ sneakers were inspired by the claw marks on the Air DT Max ’96, commonly known as the Diamond Turf 3. The shoe also had a white-and-black color scheme with gold accents, corresponding to the Colorado Buffaloes’ color code.

In addition to the red claw marks and gold accents, which remind us of Nike’s golden days, the LeBron 21 “Prime Year” colorway is a collector’s dream. It would undoubtedly elevate the looks of the Sanders men. After all, it’s enough to lure Deion Jr. and Shedeur to snag the pair!
