After leading Michigan to its first National Championship since 1997, Jim Harbaugh handed over the leadership rein to Sherrone Moore. The new Los Angeles Chargers HC has a strong belief and confidence in him as the HC. Moore replaced Harbaugh when he was suspended twice last season for violating NCAA rules.

The former Michigan OC and interim coach became the first Black HC in the program’s history. The 38-year-old also became the youngest person to be named the HC in the Big Ten. With Moore as the new Michigan HC, Jim Harbaugh is at peace even if he hopped to the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh explained how a coach leaving a college football program always hurts feelings, whether it’s the fired coach who gets hurt or the collective program when the coach decides to leave. Moore has developed a connection with the players, especially the quarterbacks, who praised his ability to motivate and inspire them. Along with Harbaugh, he helped J.J. McCarthy become one of the best passers in the country. With him leading Michigan, we can only hope that it’ll be a fruitful run.
