Sanders’ family is aiming at nothing less than becoming the face of their team and college football. Thanks to Deion Sanders’ marketing mastermind, Shedeur Sanders’s dream of being on the covers of glossy issues has a shot of turning into reality. Not only has Coach Prime’s fan-focused approach made him the ‘Sportsperson of the Year: 2023’ but also yielded sweet results for his star QB son Shedeur Sanders.

Fans give a big thumbs down to Shedeur Sanders

People on the internet do not shy away when speaking about things they dislike. This time they were unapologetically thrashing the idea of Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur Sanders, featuring on the EA Sports cover page.

Almost as if they took out all the frustration of Deion Sanders being crowned the ‘Sportsperson of the Year: 2023’, they shot down every possible record the organization, and Sanders could brag about. Remember, Shedeur Sanders is the ‘most likely’ QB, not ‘the’ QB to feature on the cover. As a response to all these allegations, EA Sports is ready with the list of all the possible players, with Sheduer Sanders leading, and other players following closely behind.

  1. Shedeur Sanders
  2. Travis Hunter
  3. Quinn Ewers
  4. Jalen Milroe
  5. Cam Ward
  6. Carson Beck

However, this list was returning players exclusively. As clearly pointed out by the fan, if Sheduer Sanders makes it to the cover, he will be the first returning player to do so, creating history in the EA franchise. EA Sports were fans of college football fans, releasing a new version or game each year, right from 1993 to 2014. In their last edition named NCAA Football 14, Denard Robinson, the former Michigan QB was adorning the cover page.

Fans look down upon other players not being included

Another list containing overall players was also included, in which more ‘deserving players’ such as Daniels and McCarthy were listed.

Ironically, the No. 4 ranked Gators in the SEC conference pointed out the Buffs QB to be the 4th best.

These comments were almost a no-brainer. Given the wind of all the allegations of ‘favoritism’ and ‘nepotism’ Deion Sanders was getting, fans were pointing out his father’s hand in the big picture.

“It should be the Heisman winner,” asserted another fan staunchly that Previous year’s Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and this year’s Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels would be the most appropriate players. Amidst all this will Shedeur Sanders’ strong fan base push him through the haters to land on the cover of the game? Only time will tell.
